This weekends results

Starting with Walden Triathlon, the first race of the eastern region where we’d expected to see our very own Kevin Carley and Phil Wallis lace up, but not this time. Only me racing!
The London 10,000 saw our members taking to the streets alongside Mo Farah, Tom Anderson with a new PB, Valerie Mcgoldrick just missing out on a sub-1hr virtually, a PB from me and a season-best for David Ballard!
We had some huge rides from Andy Notley, Pete Frankland and Andy Jopson, pulling an impressive 122 km. However, this was the short route compared to the 255 miles from Abs Louise in her last eight weeks before Ironman UK!
Park run takeover came thick and fast from Ruth King and Ronwen Redbelli leading out the 24mins pacing at the Maldon park run before heading off to the Witham 10 with Alison Vincent, who posted a fantastic time!
And last but not least, the Juniors, Ben Watley PB’d in 800m, and Arthur Ballard who won Medway Duathlon!
Don’t forget, this weekend is our first Club Triathlon of the season, great practice before the real racing commences! Sunday, 7:15 for a 7:30 am start!
